Initial Assessment

In this visit, we take a comprehensive look at the following:

  • nutrition, health and performance goals

  • medical, nutrition and exercise history

  • medications, supplements, nutrition-related labs

  • current fueling and training behaviors

  • lifestyle factors like stress, sleep, and schedule

  • first steps for working toward your goals

  • collaboration with your care team (medicine, sports medicine, therapeutic team) as needed

Follow-Up Visits

Completely individualized to you and your goals! Typically involves:

  • ongoing goal-setting, re-evaluation of your progress toward your goal(s), adjusting the nutrition plan

  • nutrition education and resources individualized to you

  • fine-tuning nutrient timing and supplementation

  • recommendations for laboratory monitoring as needed

  • ongoing collaboration and communication with your team

Eating Disorders Care

With years of experience working with those suffering from an eating disorder in both the hospital and outpatient settings, I help children, adolescents and adults of all ages on their path to recovery so they can make peace with food and their bodies. I have been trained in the Family-Based Treatment model for the treatment of eating disorders in children and adolescents, where I work to empower a client's support system to help them achieve recovery, one meal at a time. At Truly Fueled Nutrition Counseling, I will collaborate with your treatment team including physicians, therapist and other providers to ensure we're working together to provide you the best possible care, from diagnosis to recovery and beyond.
